Data to fight Leishmaniasis

Today, more than 1 billion people live in areas endemic for leishmaniasis and are at risk of infection. This disease affects some of the world’s poorest people. Preventing and controlling the spread of leishmaniasis is complex and requires many tools. One of them is effective disease surveillance and data. At EyeSeeTea are proud to contribute to this through the elaboration of Leishmaniasis country profiles information for WHO and all the researchers, officers and health workers working against this treatable and curable disease.

Artificial Intelligence To Help Diagnose Neglected Tropical Diseases

The World Health Organization is testing the use of AI as a support tool for non-specialised health workers to help them diagnose skin diseases in low resource settings.
The aim is that workers with little training in dermatology have a pocket tool that in a few seconds will give you a list of diseases that could be the cause of the patient’s lesion. The results obtained testing the app in a study in Kenya and Ghana are very promising

Biometrics against malaria

Simprints and EyeSeeTea are working together to track the new vaccination against malaria, in partnership with Ghana Health Service, with support from Gavi, Arm, and The Steele Foundation for Hope. Integrating our applications, we’re strengthening the data tracking systems to optimise the rollout of the malaria vaccine in two regions of Ghana using a state-of-the-art biometrics mobile solution.
