We’re looking for a talented and motivated Android developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Android SDK and mobile development frameworks.
What you will be doing
Android Development
- You’ll be developing and maintaining Android apps in Java/Kotlin using the Android SDK.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of Android applications.
- Work with the design team to add new features and make improvements to the user interface and user experience of our mobile apps.
- Debug and fix any technical issues, make the app run as smoothly as possible, and make sure it works on all kinds of Android devices.
Collaboration
- Work closely with the product, design, and back-end teams to build and maintain projects.
- Keep up with the latest trends and tech to make development more efficient.
- Join team meetings to talk about project updates, timelines, and deliverables.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as an Android Developer.
Skills
Android Development:
- Proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK and Android development tools.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating mobile applications with backend services.
- Proven Android development experience
- Debug and optimize Android applications
- Develop and maintain automated build and deployment processes
- Understanding of Android UI/UX design principles, patterns & best practices.
Languages:
- Fluent in English and Spanish is essential
Preferred skills:
- Code management through Github
- Agile project methodologies
- A passion for clean code
- Experience in automatic testing: unit test, end to end testing, integration testing, CI pipelines
Personal Attributes:
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- A self-motivated individual with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
