Malaria Surveillance App for PSI

Ddesigned to report positive cases of malaria detected throughout Laos in near real-time. The tool is intended to be used by healthcare providers in the field. It is user-friendly and requires little to no technological knowledge.

This app has been funded by Clinton Health Access Initiative (@CHAI_health) By collecting data points it helps tracking malaria cases, identifying outbreaks and re-directing resources to where most needed

Connecting with Sara

A platform to track and engage with clients through their mobile phones. Using phone calls, text messages and social media, PSI can use Connecting with Sara to link her to care, provide her with relevant health information, and follow her through the continuum of care. Under Connecting with Sara, we have developed a new mobile app to enable community health workers to better follow-up with consumers and refer them to health services.

HNQIS

An app to efficiently allocate resources dedicated to supervision visits within health care networks where and when they are needed most. HNQIS is an interactive tool composed of 4 modules designed to help quality assurance officers: plan their supervision visits to providers, assess providers’ performance in service provision, improve providers’ knowledge and skills, and monitor providers’ performance over time.

EDS

Quality assessment tool connected with DHIS2 servers. It synchronizes with DHIS2 in an initial sync process, and turns DHIS2 programs and data elements into surveys and questionnaires that the user is able to fill in offline from an Android device. The app was funded by PATH through the United States President’s Malaria Initiative-funded MalariaCare project and is widely used across several countries in Africa.
