Meet the Team: Carlos, system administrator

Carlos García Bautista is one of of system administrators. We asked him about the highlights of his career at EyeSeeTea:

When I joined EyeSeeTea, what immediately stood out to me was the company’s commitment to using technology with purpose — not just to build systems, but to create solutions that truly support people and organizations around the world. After many years working in complex and highly regulated IT environments, the idea of applying my experience in infrastructure, security, and systems administration to open-source, socially impactful projects felt like the perfect next step.

In my role as a System Administrator, I focus on ensuring that our infrastructure is reliable, secure, and efficient. I enjoy solving technical challenges, automating processes, and designing systems that make life easier for the entire team. What I appreciate most about EyeSeeTea is the collaborative culture: even though we all come from different backgrounds, there’s a shared curiosity and willingness to help each other grow. Every project brings something new to learn — and that’s something I truly value.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about technology in all its forms, from tinkering with *nix systems to exploring new tools and security concepts. I also appreciate the balance that EyeSeeTea offers — being part of a professional, dedicated team while still having time to recharge and enjoy life. Working here has been a great reminder that technical excellence and meaningful impact can go hand in hand.
