Meet the Team: Matias, senior developer

Matias Arriola is one of our senior developers. We asked him about the highlights of his career at EyeSeeTea:

“I had this idea to shift my career toward something more aligned with my values, where I could grow while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. That’s when I came across an opening at EyeSeeTea for a Senior Developer. It immediately caught my attention, and fast forward to today, I’m grateful to be part of this team.

I work remotely in a multicultural environment where collaboration, openness, and respect for diversity are part of the day-to-day. I bring experience as a senior full-stack developer, having worked with different technologies and across various business domains. Stepping into the world of Health Information Systems was something new, and it’s been a rewarding challenge. It makes a real difference to know that the time I spend solving problems has a positive impact on people’s lives.

I’ve also been a long-time fan of free and open source software, so being able to contribute to open source projects as part of my daily work is something I truly value.

Many of my interests revolve around software development and technology, but I also enjoy playing guitar, diving into music, films, and games, and spending quality time with the people I love. Staying curious, finding balance, and building meaningful things are what keep me going, both professionally and personally.”
